A Day In The Sand

We ventured out to the beach...we stayed for all of 10 minutes because it was just too windy! It actually took me longer to pack everyone in the car!

At least it was fun while it lasted!

What A Way To Sleep!

We found Nicolas asleep at the foot of our bed last night like this...his GIANT Hulk hand on one hand and a T-Rex puppet on the other. He slept like that for 3hrs until we moved him to his bed.

The Cute Things I Find On The Floor!

Daisy the Dog and Lil Orange

...and of course Nicolas!

She Found Her Feet!

The Nina: A replica of Columbus' Ship

The Nina, a replica ship of one of Columbus' ships is currently making its way down the coast of CA. It is docked in Morro Bay for about 2 weeks, so we thought we'd check it out! We had the pleasure of Aunt Suzanne and Cousin Vivia joining us!

Beautiful Morro Rock

Nicolas wanted me to take this picture of him with a seahorse to send to Santa...to remind Santa this is what he wants. Too cute!

MB Natural History Museum

We went to the museum last night for a late night playgroup. It was so beautiful to see the views at sunset.

Nicolas explored the way the wind direction changes the sand at the dunes.

Baby sister watched...

The views were amazing...almost looks like Big Sur! (pretty good for a camera phone!)

Nicolas loved using the binoculars!

Olive Hands!

I loved doing this as a child (ok, I still do it now) so it was so fun sharing this simple pleasure with my own child!

What better way to wake up...?

Love these smiling faces looking up at me every morning!

My Banana!

I think I forgot to post this...Madi was a banana for Halloween this year. Nicolas was a monkey. (pics in previous posts)

I guess the costume was really warm & cozy because without fail, every time Madi was in costume she fell asleep!

Cousins!

I just came across some pictures of Nicolas and his only cousin Vivia. They have so much fun together! I am so glad that we are fortunate enough to live so close to family. A true blessing!

Burnt to a Crisp!

A good friend of mine just came across this picture of Brian. It is a picture of a picture so the quality isn't the greatest..but you get the idea. Ouch!

This was taken while Brian was on a surf trip in Tahiti. Oh to be so young and carefree again! (maybe not so burnt though!) Just wanted to share!
