Madi's BFF

Here is a cute pic of one of my best friends Elena and her daughter Paloma.

Our families have so much in common...it is no wonder we get along so well!

Elena is married to a Brian as well.

Both Brians own their own businesses.

Nicolas and her daughter Eva were born almost 1 month apart.

Now Nicolas and Eva both have baby sisters 11 days apart!

We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends...that love to copy us! Ha! Ha!

Picture Update

I know how you all love to see pictures...so here are some of the latest.

Madison's favorite way to spend a Sunday morning...Grandpa Joe makes a point to visit the kiddos at least every Sunday and spend some one on one time with them. After running around with Nicolas, you can usually find Madi and Grandpa lounging for at least an hour. Too cute!



Nicolas LOVES bath time! Sometimes he plays with his alphabet, sometimes he is a bartender and makes us drinks, sometimes he splashes his giant aligator around...he ALWAYS has fun!




Madi just started really laughing this week...this time she laughed so hard she scared herself!



Nicolas is such a big helper...he especially loves holding baby sister for me.




Our friend "Auntie" Yvonne, Chris and Riley visited us. This is "Auntie" Yvonne hanging out with Madison.



One of Nicolas' favorite things to do...playing dinosaur. This dino puppet was a gift from the Peffly's.

Mommy & Me Time!

Yesterday, daddy was able to take a couple of hours to look after Madison so Nicolas and I could have some fun together.

We went to story time at the library. They read "Llama Llama Red Pajamas" among others. We had fun with our SLO county mommy friends! Then we headed off to the coffee shop and shared breakfast, including a special hot chocolate (see pic) Nicolas then ran off some energy chasing his friends around the park. What a wonderful time.

I sent Brian a text message asking him how everyone was doing...see pic below...you tell me! LOL!

Nicolas was so proud that he ate luch at the big table all by himself...I thought I'd share it with all of you!

August Update!

Here are some photos that my dear friend Elena took...I know most of you have seen a few of these, but I wanted to share just in case. Madison just had her 2 month check up and is "a vision of perfect health" accordong to Dr. Bravo. She weighed in at 13lbs 14ozs and 25" long! (8/25/08 visit)

Nicolas is doing well and is excited to start preschool in early October. (mommy is just as excited!)
